Funeral services will be announced later. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home Summerville, SC this evening from 6-9 p.m. (The Post and Courier June 25, 2001) Jessie Lanneau Finucan, 86, of Summerville, widow of the late John Finucan, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at the Presbyterian Retirement Home. Funeral services will be held at Summerville Presbyterian Church, Friday morning, June 22, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Burial will be held at Finucan Cemetery. Mrs. Finucan was born on January 28, 1915, in Summerville, S.C., a daughter of the late George J. Lanneau and Jessie Grainger Lanneau. She was the co-owner of Finucan Feed, Seed and Fertilizer. She was a graduate of Summerville High School. She was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her son, Thomas M. Finucan of Summerville; two daughters, Jessie E. Finucan of Summerville and Gayle F. E. Cates of Beaufort; six grandchildren, Jack M. Ellis, III, of Summerville; Laura E. Jones of Summerville; John F. Ellis of Longwood, Fla.; Kristen F. Kay of Summerville; Thomas M. Finucan, Jr., of Summerville; Jack Theodore Limehouse Finucan of Summerville; seven great grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Summerville Presbyterian Retirement Home, Pride Unit 140, 201 W. 9th N. St., Summerville, S.C. 29483.
