Lilla Florence Newman Felt


Lilla Florence Newman Felt, 92, of Beaufort, widow of Ernest S. Felt 
Sr., died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, in Bay View Nursing Center, Beaufort.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, 
St. Petersburg, Fla. Mrs. Felt was born June 1, 1909, in Jersey City, 
N.J., a daughter of Wilford James Newman and Mary Elizabeth Philips 
Newman. She was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was a 
protestant. Surviving are a son, Ken Felt of Beaufort; five 
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two sons, Roy and Ernest Felt Jr.; a 
granddaughter, Nancy Eileen Felt; and a grandson, Kenneth D. Felt.
The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the 
charity of one's choice. Anderson Funeral Home, Beaufort is in charge.
