(The Beaufort Gazette June 17,2001) Henry Lee Dierks Henry Lee Dierks, 84, of Beaufort, widower of Evelyn Rokusek Dierks, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Eden Gardens of Beaufort. Private memorial services are planned. Mr. Dierks was born July 18, 1916, in Tallula, Ill., a son of William H. and Anna M. Rogge Dierks. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II and the European Theater. He was a member of Dietz Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. He was a member of Masonic Lodge . He was a retired high school teacher in Ralston, Neb. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Dierks, and two brothers, Norman Dierks and Clarence Dierks. Surviving are three nieces including, Diann Corsaro of Beaufort, Denise Ajello of Springfield, Va., and Naurine Lennox of Northfield, Minn.
