(The Beaufort June 17, 2001) Pauline Dickson Pauline "Sister" Dickson, 76, of Beaufort, widow of Henry Dickson Jr., died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in Life Care Center of Hilton Head Island . Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Beaufort, with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Dickson was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Beaufort, a daughter of James and Jennie Sanders Jenkins. She was a graduate of Robert Smalls High School . She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Missionary Society and the Senior Choir. She was also a deaconess and had served as assistant church clerk. She worked at Martin's Mens Store for 20 years and later at Battery Creek High School. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella Mae Dickson Wiley. Surviving are four sons, Henry B., Charles L., Jerome A. and Shelton P. Dickson of Beaufort; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives. Marshel's Wright Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge.
