George Cheyne 

George Cheyne, 83, died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Bay View Nursing 
Center, Beaufort. Mr. Cheyne was born July 7, 1917, in Detroit, Mich., 
a son of Kenneth and Mary Cheyne. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia C.
May of Fort Mill; two stepdaughters, Martha Cathcart of Cleveland, 
Ohio and Nancy Rinek of Okemas, Mich.; John Kimball of Ada, Mich.; and 
six grandchildren. Copeland Funeral Home, Beaufort, is in charge.
