Brinson, Sr., 62, of Summerville, S.C., died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at a Summerville hospital. Funeral services will be held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday morning, June 19, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Burial will be held at Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME, SUMMERVILLE, S.C., this evening from 6 to 9 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Boone Hill United Methodist Church, 801 Boone Hill Road, Summerville, S.C. 29483. Mr. Brinson was born on January 1, 1939, in Eutawville, S.C., a son of the late Samuel Brinson and Lillias Rogers Brinson. He was a retired employee for Chevron Oil Co. He was a member of Boone Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Heaitley Brinson, of Summerville; two sons, Andrew A. Brinson, Jr., and Kenneth E. Brinson, both of Summerville; and four grandchildren. Mr. Brinson was predeceased by his daughter, Tammy Denise Brinson. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, SUMMERVILLE, S.C.
