Mr. Baena was born in New York, N.Y., the son of Jacques Baena and Louisa Jaffe Beana. He was a retired interior designer with Baena Decorators, New York City. He attended New York University and graduated from New School of Design, a member of the National Institute of Interior Design, a prominent businessman in New York City for over 50 years with three showrooms in the NYC area. Survivors include his wife of Seabrook and Kiawah Islands , two daughters, Jan Allison Stack and Christine Lizbeth Waterman of Montecito, Calif., and one son, Jeffrey Emerich Baena of Berwin, Pa., and ten grandchildren.
