Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, in the chapel of the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery. Amber was born in Charleston County, a daughter of Carl Mikell Haltiwanger, Sr., and Christine "Chrissy" Frierson Haltiwanger. She was a second grade student at Black Street Elementary School, where she was an honor roll student. She attended Sunday School at the Walterboro Church of Christ. She loved her dolls, swimming, and riding her bicycle. Surviving in addition to her parents of Walterboro are two brothers, Carl M. Haltiwanger, Jr., and Shawn R. Haltiwanger, both of the home, her maternal grandfather, Leon E. Frierson of Walterboro, her maternal great grandparents, Leon and Madeline Frierson of Charleston, and several aunts and uncles. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Amber Haltiwanger Fund, c/o BB&T Bank, 401 Robertson Blvd., Walterboro, S.C. 29488.
