The Rev. Mary D. Jefferies, the Rev. Randy Borders, the Rev. Antoinette Gardner, the Rev. J.W. Richards and the Rev. Roger Mason officiated and burial followed in Oakland Cemetery. Mrs. Woods, 75, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Hollis Dawkins Sr. and the late Fannie Littlejohn, was a native of Cherokee County and was an active member of Greater New Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Ms. Joann Edwards, Ms. Della Sanders and Ms. Evangeline Adams, all of the home, Mrs. Isabel Logan of Shelby, N.C., and Mrs. Modestine Goods and Ms. Kay France Woods of Columbia; three sons, Nathaniel Littlejohn of Oxion Hill, Md., Terry Woods of Gaffney and the Rev. Willie Woods of Blacksburg, who is pastor of Rehoboth A.M.E. Zion Church in Chester; eight sisters, Mrs. Eunice Smith, Mrs. Marva Littlejohn, Mrs. Verlie Littlejohn and Ms. Jerline Dawkins, all of Gaffney, and Mrs. Rose Lee Jefferies, Mrs. Thelma Allison, Mrs. Elizabeth Borders and Ms. Bessie Lee Littlejohn, all of Shelby, N.C.; four brothers, Kenneth Littlejohn of Shelby and Zebedee Littlejohn, Lyman Dawkins and Hollis Dawkins Jr., all of Gaffney; 23 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Woods.
