Wilson, husband of Stella Oliver Wilson, residence, James Island, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Wilson are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Monday , July 16, 2001, at the graveside in Holy Cross Cemetery at a time to be announced. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL , Sunday evening, between 6 and 8 o'clock.Mr. Wilson was born July 9, 1922, in North Charleston, S.C., the son of George Gamewell Wilson and Rosalie McQueen Wilson. He was a retired inspector with the Charleston Army Depot and served with the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. After his retirement he was employed by International Longshoremen Association as a checker. He was past Commodore of the James Island Yacht Club, Charleston Elks Lodge and James Island American Legion Post #396. He is survived by his wife of James Island; two sons, Willard W. Wilson, Jr., of Spruce Pine, N.C., and Joseph L. Wilson of James Island, S.C.; two brothers, Ralph Wilson of Cottageville, S.C., and Donald Wilson of Goose Creek, S.C.; three grandchildren, Joseph Patrick Wilson, Logan Taylor Wilson and Megan Olivia Wilson.Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, P.O.
