Mrs. Annie Doster Williams, 61
EASTOVER – The funeral for Mrs. Annie Ruth Doster Williams was 
conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Dunbar Funeral Home, 
Devine Street Chapel. Burial followed in Chester Memorial Gardens in 
Chester. Mrs. Williams, 61, died Saturday, July 21, 2001. Born in York 
County, she was a daughter of the late Pelham Jerome and Josie Mae 
Dallas Doster. She was employed with Southeastern Freight Lines and 
attended Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, 
Teresa “Joby” Williams of Eastover; a son, Donny J. Williams of West 
Columbia; two sisters, Beulah D. Loftis of Dalton, Ga., and Effie D. 
“Lib” McFalls of Laurens; two brothers, P. Ernest Doster of Chester 
and Richard N. Doster of Gastonia. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, T/Sgt. Henry L. Williams, and a brother, Officer William 
“Bud” Doster. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for 
Breast Cancer Research. Dunbar Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
