John David White, 56, of Queens, NY (formerly of the Oldfield Section 
of St. Stephen, SC), a former construction worker, died Thursday, June 
7, 2001.  The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at 11:00 
a.m. at Scott's Mortuary Chapel, Moncks Corner, SC.  Burial, directed 
by Scotts Mortuary will be in Peru Cemetery, St. Stephens, SC.  Mr. 
White was born November 18, 1944, in Berkeley County, SC, a son of Mrs.
Annie D. White and the late, Mr. Clarence J. White.  Survivors include:
his mother, Mrs. Annie D. White of East Elmhurst, NY., his sisters, 
Mrs. Rebecca L. Sampson of Freeport, NY, Mrs. Inetha White of East 
Elmhurst, NY, Mrs. Ester B. White of Moncks Corner, SC., other
