GEORGE, S.C. - Mrs. Margaret Westbury Weeks, age 82, of 408 North Parler Ave., St. George, died Tuesday, July 3, 2001, in a Charleston hospital after an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, in the St. George Cemetery with Rev. Wash Belangia officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George. Mrs. Weeks was born August 15, 1918, in St. George, a daughter of the late John Andrew Westbury and Malvnia Avinger Westbury. She was the widow of John Wesley Weeks, a graduate of St. George High School and the retired owner of Weeks Department Store in St. George. She was a member of St. George United Methodist where she was Secretary of Alice Shieder Utsey Circle and was a member of United Workers Sunday School Class. Surviving, two sons, John Wesley Weeks, Jr., Columbia, S.C., Charles J. Weeks, St. George, a daughter, Cindi Rose Gaetke, Charleston, two brothers, J. Kenneth Westbury, St. Matthews, S.C., and J. Burnet Westbury, St. George, a sister, Mary Ethel Kizer, Fayetteville, N.C., three grandchildren, Mary Margaret Westbury, Ft. Motte, Charlie Weeks, St. George, and Joy Weeks, Columbia, S.C.
