TITLE: Lavenia Hill Tuttle SOURCE: The New and Reporter, July 17, 2001 SUBMITTED: The News and Reporter FORMATTED: Kim Grissom, July 2001 *********************************************************************** Mrs. Lavenia Hill Tuttle, 75 WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The funeral for Mrs. Lavenia Hill Tuttle of 113 Demetree Road, formerly of Great Falls, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny McDowell officiating. Mrs. Tuttle, 75, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Ga. Born in Great Falls on April 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Raleigh and Carrie Lee Bishop Hill. A graduate of Great Falls High School and Macon School of Nursing, Mrs. Tuttle was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of Warner Robins First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Elmer J. Tuttle; three daughters, Linda Bowen of Kathleen, Ga., Phillis Tremblay of Warner Robins, Ga. and Laura McDade of Eatonton, Ga.; one son, E. George Tuttle of Eatonton, Ga.; two brothers, Carrol Hill and Harold Hill, both of Greenville, S.C.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home in Great Falls.
