Trull, 85 CANTON, N.C. – The funeral for Mrs. Thelma G. Trull of 59 Lake View Drive was conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Welcome Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Carter Parham, the Rev. Ronnie Jenkins, the Rev. Barry Clark and the Rev. David Trull officiated and burial followed in New Cruso Cemetery. Mrs. Trull, 85, died Saturday, July 14, 2001. Born in Young Harris, Ga., on Feb. 29, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Elsie Miller Green. She was an active member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church, where she served as pianist. Survivors include five daughters, Lucinda Muriel Carver of Edgemoor, Mary Anne Smith of Chester and Janet Lee Plemmons, Nancy Louise Cagle and Freida Gail Babb, all of Canton; three sons, Charles Roy Trull of Tuscon, Ariz., and Clarence Mingus Trull Jr. and Benjamin Ray Trull, both of Canton; 34 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Clarence Mingus Trull Sr.; two sisters, Bonnie Shipman and Louise Gentry; a brother, Joseph Calvin Green; two grandsons, Stanley Allan Cagle and Stephen Wayne Cagle; and two great-grandsons. The family may be reached at the home of Freida Babb, 17 Hickory View Lane, Canton. Memorials may be made to Welcome Hill Baptist Church, 709 Queentown Road, Canton, N.C. 28716.
