He was born, Sunday, December 8, 1935, in Erie, Pa., the son of Roman Michael and Mary Wisniewski Tronoski. He was a graduate of Cathedral Preparatory High School and Gannon University of Erie, Pa. After graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Army, was stationed in Germany and served his country in Korea and Vietnam, after which separating from service as a Major. After Mr. Tronoski's military service, he was employed as a contractor with Troscom U.S. Army Supply Depot here in Charleston, S.C. He was a freelance photographer and won many awards for his photographs. A member of the Lowcountry Camera Club, Carolina Nature Photography Association and a devoted member of Perpetual Adoration Society at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mr. Tronoski was also an instructor at the Ted Hubert School of Nature Photography. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Brzenzienski. Mr. Tronoski is survived by his beloved son, Michael Tronoski of Charleston, S.C., four sisters, Virginia Krol of Crown Point, Ind., Gertrude Cinquanta of Moonpark, Calif., Leona and her husband Richard Wolfe of Erie, Pa., Kathleen and her husband Gary Hixenbaugh of Lake City, Pa., one brother, Joseph and his wife Eleanor Trojanowksi of Erie, Pa., and many nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful father, a loving brother and a friend to all. The family and friends of Mr. Tronoski are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2001, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C. The family will be receiving visitors, Sunday, July 22, 2001, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at JAMES A.
