The relatives and friends of Mrs. Marie Suggs are invited to attend her funeral services, Monday morning, July 2, 2001, at 11 o'clock in the First Baptist Church of Johns Island. HENRY STUHR'S WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, this Sunday evening, July 1, 2001, from 6 until 8 o'clock.Mrs. Suggs was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of John Herbert Pritchard and Marie Smith Pritchard. She was the retired owner of Suggs Grocery. Mrs. Suggs was a member of the First Baptist Church of Johns Island, the Eastern Star, the Does wit Elks Lodge 242, the Republican Women's Organization, the Island Quilters and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.Survivors include three sons, Andrew L. Suggs of Johns Island, S.C., Francis C. Suggs, Jr., of Summerville, S.C., and Daniel Wade Suggs of James Island, S.C.; two daughters, Sarah S. Chavis of St. Mary's, Ga., and Donna Suggs Smith of James Island; two brothers, John H. Pritchard of Johns Island, S.C., and William C. Pritchard, Sr., of Ravenel, S.C.; three sisters, Irma Lee Suggs of James Island, S.C., Dorothy P. Davis of Woodbury, N.J., and Peggy Rabons of N.C.; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, S.C. 29455.ARRANGEMENTS BY J.
