The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. today at Bostick Funeral Home, Ridgeland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born May 11, 1952, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of Simon Davidson and Ellen S.C. Youmans. He was employed at the V.A. Hospital. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are two daughters, Sheena Smith and Simone Smith of Brooklyn; two stepdaughters, Chavon Person and Jenell Person of Brooklyn; a brother, Gregory Youmans of Morgan, Ga.; three sisters, Terri Davidson of New York, Francis Johnson and Loraine Johnson of Ridgeland; and a grandmother, Orrie Isaac of Brooklyn.
