He was a Catholic and a Veteran in the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a tool designer and manufacturing engineer, a member of the Elks Club and the Moose Club. He is survived by his wife of Ridgeville, SC; one son,Theodore Sivertsen, Jr. of Ladson, SC; two daughters, Janet Sivertsen of Summerville, SC and Cheryl Sivertsen of Danbury, CT; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 215 East Bay Street, Suite 204, Charleston, SC 29401.
