"Tom" Simpson, of 1103 Bradfort Court, died July 8, 2001. Born in Hart County Ga, she was a daughter of the late J. T. and Cora Reid Royster. Mrs. Simpson retired as a Sales Associate with Meyers Arnold Department Store in 1985 after 30 years of service. She was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church, the Co-ed 35 Class, and the Sandra Brown Bible Class. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Linda Vaughn and her husband, Joseph J. Vaughn, III, of Greenville; a son, Dennis Simpson of Summerville; a sister, Ann Gleason of Anderson; and two grandchildren, Kristie L. and Ginger E. Brewton. Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at THE MACKEY MORTUARY, CENTURY DRIVE, with Dr. Frank S. Page and the Rev. Jack Deskins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
