Born December 31, 1921, in Varnville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Drawdy and Ollie Ann Jones Drawdy. Mrs. Sharpe was a former Lab and X-Ray Technician at the Hampton Hospital and was a member of the Varnville First Baptist Church She was the widow of Mack Sharpe. She is survived by two daughters, Ann S. Granger of Swansea, S.C., and Karen Zeigler and her husband, "Ricky" of Brunson; two sisters, Olivet Mole of Hampton and Sadie Altman of Florence. There are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Maxine Sharpe and her son-in-law, Dr. W.H. Granger. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m., in the Varnville First Baptist Church with burial following in the Varnville Cemetery, directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME OF HAMPTON. Rev. Tommy Kelly and Rev. Terry Wilder will be the officiating ministers. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. and until 4 p.m., Thursday, when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Swansea Baptist Church, P.O. Box 550, Swansea, S.C. 29160, or to Varnville First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 306, Varnville, S.C. 29944.
