SEELY, Margueritte
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 28, 2001, Margueritte 
Evelyn Knight Seely, widow of Vernon Seely, residence James Island, S.C
. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services,
Saturday, June 30, 2001, at 11 o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., 
DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Mrs. Seely was born 
April 24, 1912, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Peter John Knight 
and Amanda Fredricka Lindenbury Knight. A graduate of Memminger School
and a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church. She was retired with 
Kerrison's Department Store. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy S. 
Strobel of James Island, S.C.; five grandchildren, Deborah S. Jernigan 
of Hanahan, S.C., Susan A. Strobel of James Island, S.C., Sandra A. 
Buss of Germany, Lisa Marie Stutts of Charleston, S.C., and Georgeann 
Brondsema of James Island, S.C. Eleven great-grandchildren and three 
great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and 
two brothers, Marie E. Goodale, Dorothy K. Bastian, Lois E. Mathewes, 
Wilmer A. Knight and Walter J. Knight. Flowers will be accepted or 
memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, 
Suite #504, North Charleston, S.C. 29406. (The Post and Courier June
