The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services, Saturday, June 30, 2001, at 11 o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Mrs. Seely was born April 24, 1912, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Peter John Knight and Amanda Fredricka Lindenbury Knight. A graduate of Memminger School and a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church. She was retired with Kerrison's Department Store. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy S. Strobel of James Island, S.C.; five grandchildren, Deborah S. Jernigan of Hanahan, S.C., Susan A. Strobel of James Island, S.C., Sandra A. Buss of Germany, Lisa Marie Stutts of Charleston, S.C., and Georgeann Brondsema of James Island, S.C. Eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, Marie E. Goodale, Dorothy K. Bastian, Lois E. Mathewes, Wilmer A. Knight and Walter J. Knight.
