The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services at the graveside in Emanu-El Cemetery, "Maryville", Friday, June 1, 2001, at 10 o'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Mr. Schwartz was born August 28, 1914, in New York City, N.Y., the son of the late Abraham Schwartz and Rosa Roth Schwartz. He was retired co-owner of Reliable Decorators. He was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El, the Jewish Community Center, Charleston Elks Lodge #242, and Hebrew Benevolent Society. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra S. Jacobs of Gaithersburg, Md., and Linda S. Lombard of Charleston; one brother, Herbert Schwartz of Portland, Maine; one sister, Dorothy S. Kary of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Shelly Frazier, Alexandra Lombard, Brenda Simon and Peter Jacobs, and four great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Jewish National Fund to Plant Trees in Israel, 50 West 58th St., New York, N.Y. 10019.
