Residence, North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Robert Earl Schonhut are invited to attend the funeral services of the former at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2001 at three-thirty o'clock. Interment: Plantation Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors. Friends may call at STUHR'S Greenridge Road Chapel this (Tuesday) evening from six until eight o'clock. Sgt. Schonhut was born November 3, 1930 in Rochester, NY, a son of Ernest and Gertrude Hansen Schonhut. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a Veteran of the Viet Nam war. Surviving is his wife of North Charleston, SC., 2 daughters, Lynn and husband Mike Able of Mt. Pleasant, SC., and Allison Schonhut of N. Charleston, SC., one son, David and wife, Kelly Schonhut of Charleston, SC., five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29405.
