Mr. Sammy Wilder (Lavern), Mr. William Prather (Angela), Sandford N.C.,
Mr. Gaylor Prather (Claudia), Bobigen Germany, Mr. Calvin Fludd of 
New York, N.Y., Co-Pastor Latanya Allen (Pastor Michael) of Mount 
Pleasant S.C. and Ms. Patricia Fludd of New York , N.Y. brother of 
Mr. Leon Roper (Wilhelmina), Mrs. Viola Washington, Mrs. Victoria 
Brown (Benjamin) Queens, N.Y., Mr. Donald Roper (Frances), Mrs. 
Frances Reynolds (Leroy), Atlanta, Ga., Elder Irmell Campbell (Herbert)
a special sister Mrs. Delores Smith (Clarence) Houston, Tex. the late 
Mrs. Helen Roper Brown (Sandy), Mr. Allen Roper (Bessie), and Andes

The relatives and friends of Mr. Samuel Roper and of his wife, Mrs. 
Frances Prather Roper, children, Roderick Prather, Doris Bradley 
(Alton), Samuel Wilder (Lavern), William Prather (Angela), Gaylor 
Prather (Claudia), Calvin Fludd, Latanya Allen (Michael), and Patricia 
Fludd, siblings, Mr. Leon Roper (Wilhelmenia), Mrs. Viola Washington, 
Mrs. Victoria Brown (Benjamin), Mr. Donald Roper (Frances), Mrs. 
Frances Reynolds (Leroy), Elder Irmell Campbell (Herbert), special 
sister, Mrs. Delores Smith (Clarence), the late Mrs. Helen Roper Brown
(Sandy), Mr. Allen Roper (Bessie), and Mr. Andes Roper (Annabelle), 
his aunt, Mrs. Ercelle Chillis, Mrs. Lula Champaign, uncle, Mr. Samuel 
Roper, his parents-in-law, Mr. Frank and Mrs. Elizabeth Gaillard, 
nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, are invited to 
attend his homegoing services on Tuesday afternoon, July 17, 2001, at 
1 p.m., in First Baptist Church of James Island, Camp and Bills Bluff 
Road, James Island, S.C. Inhumation will follow in Stem Point Cemetery.
Friends may call in the chapel of Harleston-Boags, Inc., on Monday 
afternoon, July 16, 2001, from 2 until 5 p.m. Mr. Roper will repose in 
First Baptist Church from 6 until 8 p.m. A quiet hour with family 
members will be observed from 7 until 8 p.m. Arrangements are announced
