Lois Sims Roberts
Lois Sims Roberts, 78, of Ridgeland, widow of Timothy Elijah Sims and 
Tommy Roberts, died July 28, 2001, in Ridgeland Nursing Center. 
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Ridgeland Baptist Church with 
burial in the Ridgeland cemetery. Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 21, 1922, 
in Eden, Ga., a daughter of Gordon and Lenora Burroughs Shuman. She 
was a member of the Mae Lyons Sunday school class and the Ann Neil 
Missions Group. Surviving are two sons, Paul Timothy Sims Sr. of 
Ridgeland and Larry Franklin Sims Sr. of Santee; two daughters, Ann 
Sims Rhodes and Doris Sims Malphrus of Ridgeland; a sister, Dorena 
Widenmier of Ridgeland; eight grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren. The family suggests that those who wish may make 
memorials to the Ridgeland Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1630, Ridgeland, 
SC 29936. Sauls Funeral Home, Ridgeland, is in charge.
