She was the wife of B. George Price, III. She was born in Olar, S.C., on May 9, 1914, the daughter of Henry Franklin Starr and Sara Brabham Starr, was educated in the Walterboro schools and graduated from Winthrop College in 1935. Mrs. Price was an aid to dependent children with the South Carolina Department of Social Services from 1961 to 1970. She was a district leader of the Lowcountry Council of Girl Scouts and a Girl Scout Troop Leader in Walterboro. A lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church, she was a youth leader and a member of the Lillie Glover Circle. She was Secretary-Treasurer of the Colleton Artists Guild and contributed drawing to the two volumes of "Backward Glances", which commemorated the Bi-Centennial in 1976. She was a member of the Colleton County Historical and Preservation Society. She studied clay sculpture under Willard Hirsch in 1956 and watercolors under Elizabeth Grant at Hilton Head Island and Charles Parnell in Charleston. She is survived by her husband, having been married 65 years, a daughter, June Price Breland of Chattanooga, Tenn., two sons, Budd G. Price, IV, of Walterboro and H. Frank Price of Aiken, four grandchildren an six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday in Bethel United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Lee Cothran and Dr. Gregory L. Snyder. Interment in Live Oak Cemetery, directed by the FRED PARKER FUNERAL HOME. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O.
