Pleasant. The family will arrange a private memorial service at a later date, arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Mrs. Prest was born in Boston, Mass., a daughter of Edward C. and Emma Buttrick Noyes Holden. She was a graduate of Dean Junior College and during W.W.II she was an instrument calibrator for the Navy. She enjoyed gardening, gourmet cooking, and her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Prest, her son, Loring B. Nichols of Hartford, Conn., her daughters, Nancy Goulding of Huntersville, N.C., Lisa Dow of Mt. Pleasant, and Hope McCourt of Seattle, Wash. Thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 267 Calhoun St., Charleston, S.C. 29401, or Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Ave., North Charleston, S.C. 29405.
