WALTERBORO - Mrs. Grace Barnhill Phelps, 84, of 435 Bedon Road, died 
Friday, July 27, at Walterboro hospital. Funeral services will be held,
Sunday, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL
HOME. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery in Conway.Mrs. Phelps 
was born in Horry County and was the daughter of Wade H. Barnhill and 
Creda Huggins Barnwill. She was a member of Living Word Church and a 
member of Bowens Mill Christian Center in Georgia.Surviving are, her 
husband, Frank L. Phelps; a son, Vernon Lee Lewis, Sr., of Florida; a 
granddaughter, Kathy L. Everett of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three 
grandsons, Vernon Lee Lewis, Jr., of Summerville, S.C., Levern Lewis 
of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kenny Lewis of Newport Richey, Fla.
