Church Cemetery. Dr. Alan Derrick officiated. Mr. Oneppo, 81, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center. Born in Providence, R.I., on June 15, 1920, he was a son of the late Louis Oneppeo and the late Louise Sangramono Oneppo. He graduated from high school in Rhode Island and was retired from Rock Hill Finishing Co He was a member of Edgemoor A.R.P. Church, where he had served as elder since 1973, and was also a member of the Richburg Masonic Lodge and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. Survivors include his wife, Jane Westerlund Oneppo; three sons, Anthony Louis “Butch” Oneppo Jr. and David M. Oneppo, both of Edgemoor, and Donald Richard Oneppo of Catawba; two brothers, Vincent Oneppo of Gilford, Conn., and Nicholas Oneppo of Warwick, R.I.; a sister, Anne Kennedy of Warwick R.I.; and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The “Now Fund,” Edgemoor A.R.P. Church, or to The Edgemoor A.R.P Cemetery Fund, 2135 Starnes Road, Edgemoor, S.C. 29712. The family will receive friends at the home, 4490 Edgeland Road.
