The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. deRosset Myers are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Saturday, July 14, 2001, in St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 67 Anson St. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Friends may call at 1 Gadsden Way, Apt. c36, Friday evening, between 5 and 7 o'clock. Mr. Myers was born March 25, 1920, in Charleston, S.C., the son of Thomas Englehard Myers and Louisa Rebecca Bacot Myers. He was a graduate of the University of the South and Duke University School of Law. He was a retired attorney. A member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and served with the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. He is survived by his wife of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Caroline M. Bailey, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two sons, Rev. Brooke Myers of Freemont, Calif., and deRosset Myers, Jr., of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Thomas E. Myers of Charleston, S.C., and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 67 Anson St., Charleston, S.C., or Bishop Garden Retirement Community, 1 Gadsden Way, Charleston, S.C. 29412.
