The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Raymond Moore, Sr., are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at 11 o'clock in Citadel Square Baptist Church. Interment, Live Oak Cemetery, Walterboro, S.C. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Tuesday evening between 6 and 8 o'clock. Mrs. Moore was born June 8, 1919, in Rome, Ga., the daughter of Thomas Emmanuel Burnette and Matilda Ralston Burnette. She was a graduate of Tifton, Ga., High School and Freeman's Business College in Albany, Ga. She was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church, Magnolia Garden Club and the Election League. She is survived by her husband of Johns Island; two sons, E. Raymond Moore, Jr., of Columbia, S.C., and Thomas G. Moore, of Washington, D.C.; two daughters , Elise M. Edson of Columbia, S.C., and Deborah M. Ervin of Charleston, S.C.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard E. Burnette of Johnson City, Tenn.; one sister, Bonnie B. Holmes of Marietta, Ga. Memorials may be made to Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting St., Charleston, S.C. 29403.
