The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Hood's Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Mills was born June 3, 1919, in Berkeley County, a son of Joseph Press Mills and Laney Mixon Mills. He was a Protestant. Surviving are four daughters, Wilma Hammond, Gloria Conner, Marlene Farmer and Juanita Caddell, all of Macedonia; four sons, Allen Mills, Wayne Mills, and Donald Mills, all of Macedonia, Joseph Mills of Moncks Corner; sister, Ila M. Gatlin of Macedonia; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL HOME, Moncks Corner, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday evening. Mr. Mills was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Odell Mills, and a sister, June Mills Moore. (The Post and Courier July 17, 2001) MILLS, J.
