Charles Henry Miles Jr. 
RICHMOND, Va. - Charles Henry Miles Jr., 52, of Richmond, died 
Wednesday, July 11, 2001, in Medical College of Virginia, Richmond. 
Services were Monday in Fifth Street Baptist Church, Richmond, with 
burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond. Mr. Miles was born Aug. 11, 1948,
in Richmond, a son of Earline Grooms Miles and Charles Henry Miles Sr. 
He was a graduate of Maggie Walker High School and a graduate of 
Central Texas College where he received his associates degree in 
business. After serving in the U.S. Army, he retired as a sergeant 
first class. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Richmond, are his 
wife, Lorraine Bleach Miles of Beaufort; three children, Shawntell 
Lenay Miles of Charlotte, and Alexis LaShay Miles and Charles Henry 
Miles III, both of Beaufort; two sisters, Eunice Toombs of Richmond 
and Marilyn Chalmers of Madison, Conn.; and three brothers, Cary, 
Andrew and Michael Wayne Miles all of Richmond. A.D. Price Funeral 
Establishment, Richmond is in charge.
