Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Born in Greer, she was the daughter of Joshua T. Turner and Helen Moore Turner. Mrs. Meyers was a member of the Charleston Women's Bowling Association where she served as vice-president and was elected to the CWBA Hall of Fame in 1996. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve and was a member of Ashley River Church of God. Survivors include her loving and loyal husband, Ernest W. Meyers; a daughter, Jan Stevens of St. Augustine, Fla.; sons, David Cargile and Tommy Cargile, both of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Gladys Hudson of Pageland; brothers, Bill Turner of Taylors and Ken Turner of Rock Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Turner; grandchildren, Patrick, Heather, Christi, Amy, Josh, Matthew, Kelli, Jason, Daniel, and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Caden, and Mackenna. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. The C.W.B.A. Board will serve as honorary pallbearers.
