TITLE: Ethel Chassereau McMillan SOURCE: The Post and Courier, July 21, 2001 SUBMITTED BY: The Post and Courier FORMATTED BY: Kim Grissom, July 2001 *********************************************************************************************** Mrs. Ethel Chassereau McMillan, 78, of 820 3rd St. North East in Hampton, died Thursday afternoon in a Hampton hospital after an extended illness.Mrs. McMillan was born in Hampton County, December 9, 1922, a daughter of the late Harry Benjamin Chassereau and Janette Sinclair Chassereau. She was a retired seamstress, and was a member of the West End Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was the widow of the late Willie McMillan, Jr.Surviving are, one sister, Edna C. Stanley of Hampton.Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Saturday in the St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Buddy Pressley and directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton.Friends may call at the chapel in Hampton from 6 to 7. p.m., Friday, and Saturday morning prior to services.The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the St. Paul Cemetery Association in Hampton.
