McIntyre, 84, 134 Babcock St., Quincy, Mass., formerly of Copenhagen, died Sunday morning at Lewis County General Hospital. Born in Philidelphia, N.Y., on January 5, 1917, daughter of Norman A. and Edith Hall Lewze. She graduated from Evans Mills High School. She married Frank J. McIntyre on December 10, 1936, in West Carthage. Mr. McIntyre died in 1945. She is a former employee of the Stop N Shop Corporation, having been employed with them for over 20yeras in Massachusetts. She was a former member of the Adams Shore Community Church in Massachusetts and a former member of the Copenhagen Congregational Church and the Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are her children, Reba Shambo, Glenfield, Marlene Nelson, Elgin, S.C., Mary Alice Morris, Holbrok and Frank David Lewze, Quincy, Mass. Her siblings , Ethel Shepard, Evans Mills, Marion Patchin, Watertown and Norman Lewze, Evans Mills. Fifteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Diane Darosa died in 1988, a brother Ralph Lewze died in 1945 during W.W.II in Germany and a sister Grace Sullivan died in 1991. Funeral for Mrs. McIntyre will be held on Wednesday, July 18, at 11 a.m., at the Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home, Inc., Cataract St., Copenhagen. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Naumberg. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society Lewis County Relay for Life or the American Heart Association.
