McGrory, residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Joseph McGrory are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Monday, July 16, 2001, in John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Hwy. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Downtown Chapel, Sunday evening between 5 and 7 o'clock.Mr. McGrory was born August 8, 1921, in Stillwater, Rhode Island, the son of William A. McGrory and Esther McGrory. He retired as a salesman from Oneida Mills. He served with the United States Air Force during World War II. He graduated from high school and attended two years of college. He attended the John Wesley United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of Charleston, S.C.; one son, Dr. Bruce E. McGrory of Yorktown, Va., one daughter, Cindy A. McGrory of Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
