Pleasant Chapel this Thursday evening from six until eight o'clock. Born December 12, 1949 in Charleston, SC., Mrs. McAlhany was the daughter of the late Harry C. Matthews and Laurel McDaniel Matthews. She was Director of Medical Records for Charleston Memorial Hospital and was Baptist. Mrs. McAlhany is survived by her mother of N. Charleston; her husband of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Jessica Leigh McAlhany of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Harry Matthews of Batesburg, SC and Robert Matthews of Awendaw, SC., and a sister, Joyce Spigner of N. Charleston, SC.
