The family will assemble at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Mack Lippard, 424 Chestnut St., Statesville and will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, 705 Davie Ave., Statesville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvary Community Church with burial to follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lippard was born Jan. 25, 1904, in Iredell County, a daughter of John Newell Robbins and Caroline Hinson Robbins. She formerly worked at McNeer Dillon and was a patient attendant at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack Haskell Lippard and Gene Everette Lippard; two brothers, Alex and William Robbins and six sisters, Lottie Ostwalt, Katie Goodman, Regina Ostwalt, Lura Goodson, Ora Robbins and Linnie Mae Robbins. Surviving are six daughters, Velma Kelley of Beaufort, Helen Sherrill of Smyrna, Tenn., and JoAnn Downer of Stanford, Fla., Martha Williams, Betty Holdsclaw and Vivian Eades of Statesville; three sons, Kenneth Hilton Lippard, John Thomas Lippard and Danny Mack Lippard of Statesville; 40 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; and 37 great-great-grandchildren . The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, 419 South Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or the charity of one's choice.
