Rachel Smith Lieberman 
Rachel Smith Lieberman, 89, of Port Royal and Milton, Mass., widow of 
James J. Lieberman, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at River Oaks 
Residential Care, Port Royal. Services will be in Canton, Mass., 
directed by Schlossberg Funeral Home. Mrs. Lieberman was born May 21, 
1912, in Boston, Mass., a daughter of the late Hyman and Esther Caplan 
Smith. She was a retired CPA assistant. Surviving are a daughter, 
Helaine Kinsey of Beaufort; a son, David Lieberman of Nashua, N.H.; 
two grandchildren and a great-grandson. The family suggests that those 
who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Family Services
of Beaufort, P.O. Box 1514, Beaufort, SC 29901. Copeland Funeral Home 
is in charge of local arrangements.
