Rosa Mitchum Law, 82 of Jolly Lane, Moncks Corner, SC, a retired secretary for Law's Wholesale, died Monday in a North Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. Interment will be in St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 17, 2001. Mrs. Law was born October 9, 1918, in Bonneau, SC, a daughter of Joshua Sumter Mitchum and Julia Catherine Harris Mitchum. She is the widow of Norris Samuel Law, Sr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class and a former choir member. She was a member of the Santee Circle Club and was a former member of the St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery Committee. Surviving are, five daughters, Ruby L. White of Shulerville, Betty L. Brown of McDonough, Ga, Barbara L. Hamm of Moncks Corner, Carolyn L. Price of Pinopolis, and Rosa H. Law of Moncks Corner, two sons, State Representative James N. Law of Moncks Corner and Norris S. Law, Jr. of Pinopolis, one brother, Joe Mitchum of Rock Hill, SC and fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
