All services will be private in North Adams, Mass., according to J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Mr. Lapointe was born April 7, 1960, in North Adams, Mass., the son of Henri R. Lapointe and Theresa Jodoin Lapointe. He was a welder-fabricator with Able Iron Works. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and the National Guard. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and was the recipient of the Bronze Medal for Bravery from the City of North Adams, Mass. He is survived by his mother of North Adams, Mass.; one daughter, Marie Rene Lapointe of Adams, Mass.; six sisters, Martha Lapointe and Denise Furey of North Adams, Mass., Gisele Torchia of Adams, Mass., Emillia Bordon of Chester field, Va., Lillian Neil of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., Marianne Leveille of Jamestown, S.C.; four brothers, Michael Lapointe of Greenfield, Mass., Henri Lapointe of North Adams, Mass. Raymond Lapointe of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Ronald Lapointe of Jamestown, S.C., and many nieces and nephews.
