Friends may call at STUHR'S GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this (Tuesday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mr. Lankford was born in Spartanburg County, S.C., on September 18, 1926, the son of W. Eugene Lankford and Lilly May Geddis Lankford. He was a retired blacksmith with the Charleston Naval Shipyard He was a member of North Charleston Church of God, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, a member of the North Charleston Exchange Club and a member of V.F.W. Post 5091. Surviving is his wife of Hanahan, S.C.; two brothers, Ira E. Lankford of Summerville, S.C., and Raymond O. Lankford of Parchman, Miss.; one sister, Lalaus L. Hamon of North Charleston, S.C.
