Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of July 7, 2001, Miss Laura 
Alice Kuhland. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends 
are invited to attend her funeral services in St. Johannes Lutheran 
Church on Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Interment, Bethany 
Cemetery. Friends and family may cal at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN 
CHAPEL, this Monday between 6 and 8 o'clock. Miss Kuhland was born on 
March 29, 1935, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of James N. Kuhland 
and Cornelia Williamson Kuhland. She was a graduate of Rivers High 
School, a member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church, and a retired Import 
Clerk with Palmetto Shipping Company. She also worked for Norton Lily 
Company after retiring from Palmetto Shipping Company. Miss Kuhland was
also a member of the Charleston Pilot Club and Propeller Club. She is 
survived by two aunts, Mary Alexander of Highlands, N.C., and Ruby 
Williamson of Charleston, S.C.; one uncle, Arva Alexander of 
Charleston, S.C.; 12 first cousins and many second cousins. Memorials 
may be made to St. Johannes Lutheran Church, 48 Hasell St., Charleston,
S.C. 29401. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
