Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.Mr. Kost was born February 25, 1921, in Bethlehem, Pa., a son of Peter Kost and Bertha Galumpke Kost. He was a member of the Bonneau Civic Club and Keen Club. He was a member of the Elks Club of Charleston. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a Roman Catholic.Surviving are his wife, Earlyne Coppedge Kost of Bonneau Beach; two daughters, Barbara Kasch of Orlando, Fla.; Patricia Brown of Marathon Key, Fla.; step-son, Hugh E. Vonderleith of Bonneau; two brothers, Michael Kost of Bethlehem, Pa.; Anthony Kost of Kansas City, Kans.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
