Kennedy, 71, of 98 Saluda Dr., Santee, Cooper Resort, Santee, S.C., and Maggie Valley, N.C., died Monday morning at her residence in Santee. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2001, in the Santee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Sigrid Fowler and Rev. John Scott officiating. Burial will be private. AVINGER FUNERAL HOME OF HOLLY HILL, S.C., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Cross City, Fla., a daughter of the late Shelly Bowers and Mrs. Lillian Sheppard Bowers. She was an active member of Santee Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder, a Sunday school teachers, and served as Clerk of the Sessions. She was a graduate of Hampton High School, Hampton, S.C. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a retired banker. Survivors are her husband, Isaac N. "Jack" Kennedy, Jr., of the home; a sister, Mrs. Virginia B. Ginn of Varnville, S.C.; and a brother, Winfield S. Bowers of Mt. Dora, Fla. Memorials may be made to Santee Presbyterian Church, P.O.
