Baldwin Mr. H. Baldwin Kearse, the husband of Evelyn Knopf Kearse, died Sunday morning at the residence. He was born in Olar, S.C., on December 10, 1910, the son of Herbert Kearse. He was a retired lumber grader at Kearse Manufacturing and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairfax. He was 90. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Joanne Phillips of Hampton; one son, William Ayers of Fairfax; one brother, Cecil Kearse of Charleston. There are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., in the chapel of SMITH-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, with burial following in the Fairfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. SMITH-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
