Joyce of Sebring, Florida died Saturday July 14, 2001. He was born in Cottageville, South Carolina February 12, 1939 to Sallie Elvira Joyce and James Clifford Joyce. He graduated from North Charleston High School in 1958 and served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, two of which were active duty. He attended the University of Miami. He was an avid golfer. At the time of his death he was self-employed. Surviving are his mother, Sallie E. Joyce of Easley, SC, a son Staff Sergeant James C. Joyce of Kathleen, GA, a daughter, Stacy J. Sugarman of Lawrenceville, GA, a twin brother, Charles D. Joyce of Easley, SC, and four grandchildren. Arrangements are by the National Cremation Society. Memorial services are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the family.
