Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at 6 a.m., Mr. 
Clarence Holmes, beloved husband of Mrs. Victoria Holmes, brother of Mr
. Edward D. Holmes, Sr., step-father of Mrs. Gloria B. Anderson.
The relatives and friends of Mr. Clarence Holmes, those of his wife, 
Mrs. Victoria Holmes; brother, Mr. Edward D. Holmes, Sr., of Los 
Angeles, Calif.; step-daughter, Mrs. Gloria B. Anderson (James Earl); 
nephews, Edward D. Holmes, Jr., Anesto Paul Holmes of Los Angeles, 
Calif.; granddaughter, Mrs. Valeria A. Trotter; great-granddaughter, 
Morgan N. Trotter, and other relatives and friends are respectfully 
invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, June 30, 2001, 12 
noon at Dorothy's Home for Funerals, 78 Cannon St. Interment, Emanuel 
A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Viewing for Mr. Holmes will be at the funeral 
home, Friday, June 29, 2001, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrangements by DOROTHY'S
